Urruty shone in her second performance and overtook her colleague with a total of 9,000 points (4,050 + 4,950) compared to 8,700 that Bocanet achieved (4,400 + 4,300). The Canarian participant Anastasia Syskova came in third with 8,300 points.

Leonor about the championship

Nine-year-old Leonor was overjoyed to have achieved the title: “I was a little nervous, but I did it well. And I’m also very happy for my teammate, who I like very much,” said the up-and-coming star from San Antonio. Trainer Amaya Cardeñoso explained that this is the first gold medal to go to Ibiza in the rhythmic gymnastics category and is happy about the success of her students.
