The proportion of music recorded in the U.S. and the United Kingdom decreased significantly in 2018 compared to 2017, but recovered in both Germany and Canada.

In a survey, 32 percent of respondents said they listen to dance / electronic regularly. If you translate this into the global population of 16 to 64 year olds, that is an estimated 1.5 billion people.

A Forbes report shows that the average pay for the highest paid DJs has dropped significantly. The top 10 total (USD 261 million in 2018) was the lowest since 2013. The report provides important statistics on the development of the electronic music business and is therefore a barometer for the entire industry. It is valued by professionals from across the industry and is also used for market research reports.
